The Netherlands and Belgium join forces with ‘Battle of the Mountain’ to raise money for ALS research.
On June 21, Global Day for the recognition of ALS, Foundation Battle of the Mountain organises a challenging bike event to fight against ALS. The ultimate goal of ‘Battle of the Mountain’ is to organise this unique event in all countries participating in Project MinE.
With this unique event 250 participants are challenged to make 8844 altitude meters within 24 hours. This can be done solely or as a team. A groundbreaking sports challenge where participants are requested to raise € 300,- per person for Project MinE.
Evy Reviers, CEO ALS Liga: “Wonderful initiative , a good example to everyone who is involved in ALS and beyond, to join forces. Samen op de BRES voor ALS.”
Gorrit-Jan Blonk, CEO ALS Nederland: “We are very pleased with this initiative. Project Mine is internationaal and groundbreaking. Battle of the Mountain matches to this perfectly.
